Federer Won today the 2009 roland garros title by winning against Soderling 6-1, 7-6, 6-4. This is the first Roland Garros title for Roger Federer.
Federer won the first set very easily in less than 25 minutes, after winning 4 break points, on the score of 6-1.
The second set, which lasted 49 minutes, was more disputed than the first one, but it's Federer again who won, after going through the tie-break he won four services by ace and the tie-break by 6-1.
In the third set, Federer won the break in the first game of the set, leading 1-0, then after each player won his service game, and on the score of 5-4, Federer served for the match and won the third set and the match.
By winning this match and title, Federer won 14 grand slam titles like Pete Sampras, and like Andre Agassi, he won all the different grand slam titles.
