Roland Garros Results: Federer Vs Del Potro 3-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4
In the second semi final in roland garros today, Roger Federer faced today Juan martin Del Potro in the central court.
Del potro won the first set 6-3 after winning two breaks in 38 minutes of play, Federer made some direct faults and seemed a bit nervous in the end of the set.
in the second set, the players had to go through tie-break and its Federer who won the set 7-6(7-2) equalizing one set each. the Argentinian made 5 direct faults in the tie-break and lost the set that lasted 46 minutes.
In the third set, Del Potro took the lead again, two sets to one, after wining the third set 6-2, but Federer equalized 2 set each, after he easily won the fourth set 6-1.
During the last set of this second 2009 roland garros semi final, Federer won a break point in the first game, then lead 3 to 1, but Del Potro managed to came back in the game, equalizing 3-3. After wining another break, Federer took the lead again 4-3.
At 5-4, Federer served for the match and a place in the finals of a grand Slam tournament for the 19th time. And Federer ended this match wining against Del Potro 3-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4, he will face Soderling in the final game on Sunday.
