MotoGP: USA Grand Prix, Jamie Hacking on Kawasaki
The American pilot Jamie Hacking, star of American Superbike championship, will make his debut in MotoGP on a Kawasaki at the next USA Grand Prix, July 20th at Laguna Seca (CA). The information was announced by Kawasaki Thursday.
Twice Supersport champion of USA (2003 and 2006), Hacking, 37 years old, already made it six times to podiums this season, occupies the 4th place of the provisional classification of the American Superbike championship.
At Laguna Seca, he will replace on the Ninja ZX-RR his compatriot John Hopkins, seriously injured in the left leg after a fall during qualifying trials in the Grand Prix of the Netherlands at Assen 15 days ago.
